Coconut fibres, also known as coconut coir, is ecologically friendly and is utilised for different applications. The operatives extract it from the husk of the coconut, and it is durable and strong. You can use them to make floor mats, brushes, mattresses, door mats and more. Different types of Coconut Fibre Machinery is utilised for this process. You can hire them from reputable exporters of food processing machinery.
Different Types of Coconut Fibre Machinery
- Buster
This model of the machinery comes in three sizes, with a diameter of 3’x 3’, 4’ x 6’ and 5’ x 6’. The motor range for the first variety is 25, with an output range of 500-1500 kg fibre production per 8 hours. For the second model, the motor power is 40-60 with an output capacity of 2000- 5000 kgs fibre. For the last one, the motor range is 75-125 with a total output capacity of 6000-10,000 for 8 hours.
- Peeled
This model of coconut fibre machinery comes in different sizes and ranges. The diameters vary from 3’ x 6’, 4’ x 8’ to 5’ x 10’. The motor power ranges from 30 and reaches up to 200 horsepower. The output capacity of the machinery is between 500 to 10,000 fibre production on an 8-hour basis.
- Fibre Screener
This is strong and durable machinery with screener sizes of 7.5’, 10’, 12’ feet long. The motor horsepower of this particular machinery ranges between 1 to 7.5 horsepower. The output or production capacity of the coconut fibres every 8 hours go from 1,000 – 2,500 to 6,500 – 10,000.
- Coco Peat Screener
For this model of the coconut fibre machinery, the size chart is as follows-
Screener Size (Feet) | Motor (HP) | Output (Kg Peat / 8 hrs) – Only After Drying |
7.5’ Long | 1 | 1,000 – 2,500 |
10’ Long | 2 – 3 | 3,200 – 4,000 |
10’ Long | 5 | 5,000 – 6,000 |
12’ Long | 7 | 6,500- 10,000 |
- Fibre Bale Press
The weight of the bale is 100-120 kgs, and the size is 3.75’ x 1.75’ x 1.75’. The motor runs at 30 horsepower and +30 HP above 20 bales/hr. The output range is a whooping 10-15 and 20-25 bales per hour.
- Crusher
The crusher machine is utilised for crushing and punching the husksfor the procedure of easy soaking. This softens the fibre in the husks, and they get straightened to a certain extent. Consequently, it reduces the hardness of the husks, and it becomes suitable for further processing of the fibre.
